Never Again

Posted on: October 3rd, 2008 by Leah Stonum

The good: NoneThe bad: Horrible, horrible service!Summary: Where do I begin? The final straw was when I went in to buy an I-Phone, was told "We don't have them." I asked to make a change to my account, and I was not allowed to access it without my HUSBAND THERE. I opened the account, and we both went in last year and asked that it be in both our names. Apparently, they just put it in his. These idiots should be be put out of business! This is just one of MANY incidents. I'm done.

They stink

Posted on: September 9th, 2008 by Anonymous

The good: noneThe bad: Poor reception lots of dropped calls. Cingular was better before AT&T came.Summary: When Cingular became AT&T, my plans "expired" tripling my phone bill. Customer service was rude. My call dropped while I was talking to them so they cancelled my plan instead of fixing it.

EXCELLENT!!!

Posted on: September 8th, 2008 by Nat G

The good: Great coverage! Never had a problem with dropped calls! The bad: They charge too much for the extrasSummary: I've had it for 4 years now, and I have no complaints, when ever they charged me for stuff that wasn't it was taken cared of immediately. They have great phones, none of the cheap ones, The service is great I have excellent coverage, The rollover is very helpful when sometimes I have a crazy month! Just overall great. I've had Sprint and I hated it, I've had Verizon and it was so expensive.

Tried for 1 month......BAD IDEA

Posted on: August 28th, 2008 by Steven Desrosier

The good: IphoneThe bad: CoverageSummary: After being with Verizon for 4 years, I switched to AT&T for the Iphone. The phone was great and works OK in Spokane. I then went to Montana and I had no coverage in Helena and no 3G coverage anywhere. AT&T said that they use the same towers as Verizon and that they would provide better/same coverage as Verizon. WRONG!!! After 1 month, I swtiched back to Verizon and I couldn't be happier.

Time for change

Posted on: August 25th, 2008 by Bob Pross

I started service with Cingular over 9 years ago. I upgraded just before they changed to AT&T. For me, the bills got very confusing as they lump all minutes together. I never once received courteous and knowledgeable customer service. Stayed so long as probably afraid of change. I'm done now.

I have never been treated so bad in my life

Posted on: August 25th, 2008 by Jeff Johnson

The good: Not many problems with service. The bad: Rude, uneducated dispicable customer service that lie and refuse to live up to an agreement that they made.Summary: I have been with AT&T/Cingular for almost ten years and have not had a problem. I am out of contract and called them to buy the Tilt phone. The rep sold me the phone for 29 dollars plus an internet plan that i had to keep for six months at 30 bucks per month. I provided my credit card number and recieved a confirmation number. About two hours later, i got a message stating that they made a mistake and I was going to be charged 150 dollars for the phone. I called back and they said it was too bad and they would call Fed-ex and have the phone stopped before I got it. I was charged the money on my card and they refuse to refund the money saying i have not returned it, although i never recieved it. They now have the phone back and i still dont have a credit. Now they say it takes two months for a credit. I cant image that if i was at a store and i bought something, and then they called me at home and told me they charged me the wrong price and i have to bring them more money. I have spoken with over twenty people who have lied to me and treated me horribly. I have never lost my temper with any of them yet they taunt me and refuse to fix the problem. I spoke with the office of the president who was just as rude but then finally said that she would give me a fifty dollar bill credit. No thanks, I switched to Verizon.

More bars?

Posted on: August 5th, 2008 by Ralph Turner

The good: Customer service very friendly. The bad: No service in many areas.Summary: Our Sprint contract expired at the end of July, we had OK connectivity with them but not great, so we started looking at other carriers. When we went to the AT&T store I fell in love with the iPhone 3G and had to have it. I excitedly took it home thinking I should have good connectivity as AT&T advertises "More Bars in More Places". Wrong, I could not get a signal in my home, only if I went outside. Out of curiosity I started driving around the city to see if it was just my area. I was very surprised to find many dead spots. So much for more bars (they must be talking about the alcoholic type). I hate to do it but I am taking my iPhone back and moving to Verizon. The iPhone was great, just not on the AT&T network.
