Today is Instagram's 10th birthday, and to celebrate the company is throwing it back with some old-school app icons.
You can now change the Instagram app icon, swapping out the current design for one of the old, more skeuomorphic looks with the Polaroid-style camera. There are also several differently colored variations of the current Instagram icon, including Gold, Pride, Dark, Light, and Very Dark color options.
To change your Instagram app icon, navigate to your profile in the app, tap on the three-line menu button in the upper right corner of your screen, then go into your settings. Perform a long swipe down and you'll see some emoji. Keep pulling down until you get the menu to change your app icon.
Instagram does hint that the ability to change the app's icon will only be available for the month of October. "To celebrate our birthday, this month we're inviting you to change your app icon to your favorite below," Instagram says.
