The Nokia 9 PureView is HMD Global's flagship Android phone, and starting this weekend, you'll be able to get one of your own at a discounted price.
Starting today, May 5th, the Nokia 9 PureView will be on sale at Amazon and Best Buy. Pricing will be $599, which is $100 off the phone's normal asking price. This deal will only be available through Friday, May 11th, so you'll have less than a week to jump on it.
One of the highlights of the Nokia 9 PureView is its camera system. There are five cameras on the back of the phone — two RGB and three monochrome — and when you capture a photo, all five cameras record the image and then they're all fused into a single 12MP photo. There are some pro-level software features included, too, like the ability to shoot in RAW DNG format and a Pro Camera UI that'll let you adjust white balance, ISO, shutter, speed, and exposure time.
The flagship-tier specs of the Nokia 9 PureView don't stop there, as HMD Global has also equipped the phone with an octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a 5.99-inch QHD+ pOLED screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor. There's 128GB of storage built into the Nokia 9 PureView as well as a 3320mAh battery and Qi wireless charging. The whole body is IP67 water and dust resistant.
On the software side, the Nokia 9 PureView runs Android 9 Pie with Android One, meaning it's got a streamlined user interface and no bloatware. You'll also get OS updates for two years and monthly security updates for three years.
