Details of the OnePlus 7 Pro continue to trickle out, both officially and unofficially, ahead of the device's official reveal next week.
First up, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that the OnePlus 7 Pro's screen will support HDR10+. We already know that OnePlus is going all-out for the display on the OnePlus 7 Pro, with the company teasing an upgraded display that OnePlus spent three times as much on compared to previous phones. Screen testing firm DisplayMate has also said that the OP7 Pro's OLED screen has earned its "Highest A+ Display Rating".
Other details of the screen include it being a 6.67-inch QHD+ curved AMOLED display, says Ishan Agarwal, with automatic switching between FHD+ and QHD+ based on content and usage to help you save battery life. The screen is also said to be able to move between 60Hz and 90Hz refresh rates.
More images of the OnePlus 7 Pro have leaked out today as well. The renders from WinFuture show the OP7 Pro in Almond, the third color we've seen after the Nebula Blue and Mirror Grey versions leaked last week.
Finally, some renders that show the OnePlus 7 have surfaced. The images leaked by WinFuture show a device that looks pretty similar to last year's OnePlus 6T, complete with a waterdrop and dual rear camera setup. One small change with the OnePlus 7 is that the earpiece grille sitting above the screen is a good bit larger than the one on the OnePlus 6T.
While the design for the OnePlus 7 may be similar to the OnePlus 6T, some of the specs are expected to get an upgrade. The OP7 is rumored to have a Snapdragon 855 processor, 16MP front camera, and a 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor and OIS and a secondary 5MP camera that's likely for depth sensing. Other specs are said to include 6/8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 3700mAh battery.
