The good: Great prices, rugged phones, good service, no major problems
The bad: voice mail sometimes comes a little late.
Summary: I have been on my gf's plan for more than 3 years, and we have no other phones in the household. We have had really good service and luck with this plan and carrier. I was added as an auth user on this account years ago, and I have never had to call, because I have never had any problems.
The good: Good plans for both talking and texting
Very flexible
Good selection of stuff for download at fair prices
No roaming
The bad: Reception is o.k. but could be better
Summary: I like this because of the plans. They give you a good deal of minutes for the price and they're so many different plans and options to chose from. I have the $35 a month plan that gives 300 anytime and 1000 night/weekend minutes. They even have plans for texting, like the $5 a month deal which gives you 200 texts. Or you can do it by the text for 5 cents each. Plus, if you don't like the plan you're on, you can switch at any time. Another good thing is there are no roaming charges, on matter where you are. I get decent reception in my area but it could be better. Overall, Virgin Mobile is an excellent service provider and I will stick with them for the long run.
The good: small, good sounding, good reception
The bad: very short batter life, slow navigating through menus
Summary: the phone has a lot of great features but the battery is awful and it seems as though i'm recharging it almost as much as any phone i've ever used
The good: I love the plan i have from alltell because for one you never roam, second you get free mobile to mobile, Third you get free night and weekends. And You get free long distance so you can stay in touch with you family, Plus you get a whopping 500 minutes a month for only 45 bucks a month what more could you ask for. I love alltell!!!!
The bad: none
Summary: Alltell is the best company out there nothing beats alltell plus freindly staff and employess so if you are thinking about getting a phone alltell is the place to get one!!!!!
The good: GOT A FREE SPRINT LG FUSIC 550
The bad: THEY OUTSOURCE SOME SERVICE CALLS
Summary: I had trouble with my insurance replacement phone, after the 3rd phone I told them I would not renew my contract, they transferred me to acct services and the girl shipped me a brand new LG 550 phone for FREE, it's a 300 phone, thanks sprint!!!
The good: lightweight, cute design, comes with crystal decor, has internet access, can download ringtones, graphics, & multimedia, & has games
The bad: no speakerphone, recorder, or bluetooth
Summary: this is a pretty good phone. its my second and i have had no problems with it yet. its cute & simple. & it also has a wide keypad thats great for texting.
The good: Good amount of time for the money. Great customer service. Automated but also real people.
The bad: Signal is poor in many areas. Need more towers built in southern Minnesota.
Summary: I have had this plan for well over a year and have never had any problems with anything. The customer Serives is great and if you need to speak to a service tec for anything they will call you so that you don't have to sit on hold.
The good: Small and compact, beautiful color in graphic.
The bad: I can't think of any.
Summary: I love my samsung. I have had this phone for well over a year now and I wouldn't trade it for anything. It has everything I need without all of the extra's that are not needed.
The good: qwerty keyboard, cool design, vioce quality amazing, great features, durable, wont break like a weak razor. fun phone all-around!
The bad: outside keys a little small, but managable. browsing internet only good with select sites but still a lot to offer!
Summary: I got this phone a couple days ago and it is hard for me to put it down! it is perfect for texting. maybe too perfect! voice quality like a land line. picture quality good, and lots of space for lots of pics! easy to use and fun as well. i am so happy with this phone! it may not be the most sleek, but i wanted a bulky durable phone that wont break and i feel this phone will last much longer than any razor! overall i would give this phone a 4.5 out of 5
The good: My plan rocks, it was introduced as a promotional offer and I took it, and now people pay more than I do for the service I have.
The bad: Sprint will NOT give the deals they offer to new customers to their existing ones on new cell phones. They give you crappy rebates that would not even cover a month of service.
Summary: I am thinking about switching to anther provider and consider my losses. I really want a new cell but there is no way in hell that I am paying 300 for one.
The good: Its Cool Easy to text message with and it has a clear camera itz a pretty cool phone but you shuld get the candid 2 its way better
The bad: it scratches easally
Summary: Thiis phone is cool but sumtimes it goes crazy on me so ya but um well its easy to text message wit and to download stuff its really good wit that
The good: great coverage, reliable service, no dropped calls
The bad: reception spotty in some areas. inside my house it's not very good.
Summary: Verizon wireless as a carrier is fantastic. Besides the VERY few spots where reception isn't so hot - like my house - it is great. There really isn't any reason to not get Verizon. At the very least, give it serious consideration.
The good: Low prepaid rates, 10 cents a minute, 5 cents incoming and 10 cents outgoing text. Also on some days get free WAP browsing.
The bad: Service coverage not so good in small towns, no roaming support.
Summary: I would reccommend it for people that do not use their phone often, but if you text a lot, this plan is not a good choice.
The good: Excellent camera and graphics. Sound is very clear, easy to use and thin so slides very easily into pocket. great size as gives great grip.
The bad: Battery life not that strong.
Summary: This phone is very stylish with excellent camera and graphics. Keypad very easy to use and screen nice and big. The size in this phone gives great grip. this phone has awesome features such as java and mp3 player. I would certainly recommend this phone.
The good: Several "Advanced" features
reliable
The bad: MP3 tunes are hard to get onto the phone
Push-To-Talk button is in the way, where you can accidentally push it without realizing it.
Summary: There seems to be a lot of negative reviews for this phone; however, I've really enjoyed it. I use the bluetooth feature with my Motorola HS850, and have little problem with it. The sound quality is decent, although you'll get some overmodulation if you max out the speakerphone volume.
The good: It has ecellent features and potential
The bad: The programs are primitve and need advancement or replacement
Summary: The Treo 700w is too primitive functionally to be useful. It needs many hours and money to make it useful for anthing than basic usage.
The good: Good voice quality, good phones, rollover minutes on many plans (if not all)
The bad: Customer service needs improvement
Summary: The Cingular plan I have is about $40 a month and came with a free phone - the nokia 6010. Overall, I am happy with the purchase/service. Rollover minutes are great on months when you don't talk as much and the voice is clear when you're out in the open. Just watch out for microwaves! Other than that, the store they have to buy ringtones, games, wallpapers, etc. is pretty good, although the prices are a little high.
The good: Great battery life, good reception, decent price
The bad: Voice quality could be better, buttons are hard to press sometimes, absolutely horrible for gaming
Summary: This is the type of phone to give to your grandmother or grandfather, probably the type of person that want a phone just to talk. It works, no question, but it's horrible for any type of games because of the small screen and extremely low resolution and faded color. Without the light on, it's extremely hard to read in the dark. With all that said, it still had a great battery life, charges quick, and decent price for the quality.
The good: I bought my phone and paid $69.99 which includes the first month of service at no charge. They have a $50 instant rebate right now. I ordered the $40 per month plan which includes unlimited local and long distance calls as long as I am within my area.
The bad: The only con I see is if you travel a lot and need to use your cell phone while you travel. You can get the $50 per month plan with New service in Any Cricket market which is small but they are expanding so this may not be a problem for much longer.
Summary: If you travel you can get All services in any Cricket market for $50 per month so anyone that has Cricket now and travels should be able to upgrade to this New Feature but I would check and make sure the service is in the areas you travel into. The town I live in just got Cricket service last week so they are expanding their service areas. The $40 plan does Not include voice mail, caller id or waiting etc. but I would not use those options anyway. The phone works great so far around town in buildings etc. I really like no contract, no activation fee and unlimited minutes. Since we do not travel much this is perfect for us.
The good: This thing is loaded on top of all of its features its a great phone
The bad: MS notes will not cooperate
Where is the love for MAC users
Summary: I am writing this review from my brand spanking new 8525. The adjustment has not been easy. If you are a blackberry user the learning curve will be steep. initial setup was a breeze, with only a few setbacks establishin my many mail acounts. If you are a MAC user like me forget about syncing this device to any of your MAC native applications (even Office for MAC is a no go). I have used all of the MS mobile apps and they all work flawlessly with the exception of notes which for now refuses to cooperate. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I got great 3G reception far away from major metropolitan areas. I was able to surf the net faster than my land anchored counterparts in a little border town called Eagle Pass, TX. All in all if this device cannot satisfy your every buisness need then neither will a laptop so just forget about it. A final note on this phone, it actually is a really good phone. the touchscreen is annoying for typing in numbers but the sound quality is phenominal. I typed this entire review on an 8525, not even 5 miles from the rio grande.
