Microsoft might be done offering its Band wearable devices, but some newly-leaked photos show that Microsoft did have another wearable in the works.
Images of the Microsoft Band 3 have made their way online. The Band 3 looks fairly similar to the Band 2, with a bracelet design and a rectangular screen. We can see that the clasp on the back is slightly different, though.
According to the source of the images, the device was waterproof and offered tracking for swimming and blood tracking as well as RFID.
It’s said that this Band 3 has been canceled, so any fans of Microsoft’s wearables won’t be slipping this device on their wrists. There’s no word on why Microsoft has canceled the device, but the wearables market is a competitive one, and it sounds like Microsoft is bowing out for now.
