UPDATE: Samsung have reached out to me with a couple of updates about the Pink Gold Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. First, the Pink Gold phones will not be available for T-Mobile, only for AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon. Additionally, the Pink Gold GS7 and GS7 edge will not be sold unlocked.
After making its international debut in April, the Pink Gold Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge making its way to the U.S.
Samsung confirmed today that the Pink Gold Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are coming to the U.S. on Aug. 28, and they’ll be sold exclusively by Best Buy. The unlocked devices will work across all four major U.S. carriers.
The Pink Gold GS7 and GS7 edge are largely similar to the other color options that’ve been around since March. That means that they’ve got Snapdragon 820 processors, 12-megapixel rear cameras, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
One unique feature of the Pink Gold models is that customers that buy and activate their phone in-store will receive a $150 Best Buy gift card.
The other Galaxy S7 and S7 edge colors in the U.S. are black, silver, and gold, so the Pink Gold models will help to add a bit more color to the selection of GS7 and GS7 edge models.
