UPDATE: According to a report from The New York Times, the iOS 9.3.5 update patches vulnerabilities that would enable malware to read a user’s text messages, emails, and contacts; track calls; and record sounds, passwords, and the user’s location.

Apple will launch iOS 10 to the public this fall, but before it does, it’s pushing out another iOS 9.3 update to its users.

iOS 9.3.5 is now rolling out to the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. According to Apple, this is an “important security update.” To install it, you can go into Settings > General > Software Update.

This update comes a few weeks after the release of iOS 9.3.4, which was also a security-focused update. Now iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch owners are getting some more security patches to help keep their device and info safe.
