After MWC and events from Apple, HTC, and T-Mobile, the stream of big mobile shindigs is going to carry right into April.
Huawei is holding a press event in London on April 15. The company is now sending out invitations to the event, and Android Central suggests that Huawei’s going to show off its next big smartphone.
When Huawei’s event goes down, it’ll be nearly one year after the announcement of the Ascend P7, so it’s certainly possible that we could see the Ascend P8 or whatever the P7’s successor is. Details on Huawei’s next Android flagship are a bit light, but a new image posted today by @OnLeaks claims to show off the bottom of a “Huawei Ascend P8 prototype.”
The Ascend P7’s got a 5-inch 1920x1080 screen, 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras, and a 1.8GHz quad-core processor packed into a body that’s 6.5mm thick, so it’ll be interesting to see what Huawei’s got in store for the next model. What features will Huawei’s next flagship Android phone need to make you consider picking it up?
