If you’re rocking a Nexus 6 on T-Mobile, it’s time to update.
T-Mobile product guy Des Smith says that the Nexus 6’s update with Android 5.1 and Voice over LTE (VoLTE) is now rolling out over the air. According to T-Mobile’s support site, the update bumps the Nexus 6 to build LMY47M. It’s listed as being 409MB in size.
Android 5.1 is a nice little update that includes a new Device Protection feature that’ll keep your device locked and protected if it’s stolen, even if the thief wipes your device. There are also lots of smaller changes in the update, like the ability to select Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections from the Quick Settings menu.
If you’ve got a Nexus 6 running on T-Mobile, be sure to keep an eye out for this update in the coming days.
