Just a day after the Samsung Galaxy Rugby Pro got an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, another member of the Galaxy family is getting its own Jelly Bean treat. The Galaxy Note 10.1 began receiving an update to Android 4.1.2 today, with owners on XDA-developers having success with both the over the air download method as well as through Samsung's Kies computer software. This 487MB update is for the Wi-Fi-only, U.S. flavor of the Note 10.1, which features the model number GT-N8013.
As is usually the case with an update to Jelly Bean, owners of the Galaxy Note 10.1 should expect to see goodies like Google Now and smoother performance thanks to Project Butter once they get this new software installed. Samsung also previously revealed that the Note 10.1 would be receiving a Premium Suite with its Android 4.1 update. That pack of software includes features like Air View for previewing an app's content with the S Pen, S Note app improvements and the Multi-Window feature that allows users to run two apps on-screen at the same time. So, any of you Note 10.1 folk already enjoying all that the Jelly Bean update has to offer?
