The Nexus 7 has been available with built-in AT&T HSPA+ connectivity for a few months now, but for folks that've yet to pull the trigger on the cellular-enabled Jelly Bean tablet, AT&T has introduced an offer that may finally get that wallet to open up. Over on the Nexus 7 with HSPA+'s Google Play product page, it's been revealed that AT&T will give buyers a $100 bill credit if they agree to a two-year postpaid data plan or Mobile Share add-on with their new Android slate. The Nexus 7 itself costs $299, and then AT&T offers the following data plan options:
AT&T has been running a similar promotion since early in November 2012, which gives customers $100 off the price of a tablet when they agree to a two-year data contract. This Nexus 7 deal is slightly different in that the $100 is given as a bill credit rather than being taken off of the price of the tablet. Still, this deal something to consider if you were thinking about plunking down $299 for an AT&T-connected Nexus 7 and were planning to keep it connected to big blue's network for the foreseeable future anyway. The offer is good through Feb. 14, so the good news is that there's still a month left to make a decision. And hey, what better way to say "Happy Valentine's Day!" than with a 7-inch cellular data-enabled Android tablet?
