Following a pair of leaked photos that suggest that Sony is cooking up a new Xperia Z5 Compact, another image has leaked that reinforces the previous rumor.
Dutch blog Techtastic has shared what looks to be a promotional image of a woman holding a Sony Xperia-branded phone. Comparing this device to the ones that leaked earlier this month, it appears as though the camera and volume buttons are in similar spots in the bottom half of the phone’s side. However, it’s tough to see if the alleged fingerprint reader that was above those buttons in the previous leak is also present in this new image.
The back of the device in this promotional image looks, well, like the back of several of Sony’s previous Xperia Z-series phones. Considering Sony’s history of minor design changes with other Z phones, it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see the Z5 Compact resemble its predecessors.
The spec details for Sony’s Xperia Z5 Compact are up in the air, but past models have offered fairly respectable features in a small size. The good news is that with IFA just a couple of weeks out, it may not be long before Sony spills all of the beans.
