We’ve seen a couple of Moto 360 (2015) leaks so far this year, but there have been questions about whether the devices in those leaks were prototypes or simple mockups. Now it’s starting to look like they were the real deal.
Several photos have emerged that claim to show Motorola’s new Moto 360. Posted to Google+ and Reddit, the photos show people wearing round smartwatches with exposed lugs and a button at the two o’clock position. And yes, looking at two of the images, it does appear that the original Moto 360’s “flat tire” is making a return.
The photos were allegedly taken in Chicago, the same city where Motorola has its headquarters.
Nothing is official until Motorola says it is, but given everything that we’ve seen so far, it’s starting to look like the device in these photos could be the new Moto 360. What we still don’t know are what kind of spec improvements the new 360 could offer over the old one, and also whether or not we’ll see this new version in two different sizes. Here’s to hoping that Motorola makes this thing official soon.
