The good: Good Coverage, Unlimited minutes
The bad: Only works in Coverage Area
Summary: I got a Cricket RAZR phone for my wife by ordering on Cricket's web site. Phone arrived in a week and works great. Since she never leaves our local calling area, this phone is perfect. Coverage is good and she can talk as much as she wants and we are billed the same every month ($54 total including taxes). I got her unlimited long distance (48 states), call waiting, and caller ID. Not having a service contract or going through a phone bill to check minutes is great, especially for my wife who talks all the time. Coverage area here is good, covers Houston, Austin and San Antonio, but not the highways between the cities. Since I have a Cingular phone through my work, we just use that one if we go out of town. Customer service was very helpful in changing her phone number.
The good: I like everything about it except...the ringtones. There is no normal ringtone, you know, like ring, ring, ring.
The bad: I like everything about this phone except the choice of ringtones.
Summary: I love this phone. I'm due for an upgrade, but I think I'll stick with this one!
The good: Unlimited local and long distance
The bad: Have to pay $15.00 for everything, phone number change, plan...etc.
Summary: I recommend Cricket to anyone who likes to talk on the phone a lot and who calls long distance, I do not recommend Cricket if you travel outside of your local area
The good: Has a lot of functions that we use everyday
The bad: It is hard getting used to the small size phone
Summary: We like the phone as it has a lot of functions that we use daily. It also has good reception which makes it fantastic as we were tired of the in and out conversations.
The good: Camera phone, nice colors, durable and good quality
The bad: Ring tones not loud enough, cant hear well in ear piece
Summary: I would recommend this phone if you like to take pics and send them, it is a good quality phone, I wouldn't it if your hard of hearing
The good: Better coverage, no roaming, and ample minutes.
The bad: still no reception in remote areas
Summary: Overall, much better plans, minutes, and coverage for the money than Cellular One had for our area and the states we travel through and to. I'll never go back!!!
The good: Close to a store wherever I am
The bad: Lose alot of calls.
Summary: Signal strength seems to be an issue. Depending what town I am in(I'm a truck driver), depends on how strong my signal is. Sometimes it's non-existent. Even in my kitchen I lose the signal.
The good: Pay as you go is very convinent & there are no plans or monthly bills
The bad: Sometimes when in a store & at home I cannot get a signal
Summary: I love the snapper phone & virgin mobile service. I love the pay as you go & not having to have a service contact or getting monthly bills.
Although I cant get much respection at home or in some stores.
The good: small and light weight....Good calling area
The bad: I sometimes hit wrong numbers because the finger pad is too small..need way to adjust the way pictures are taken
Summary: I have been with Alltel for about 6 years now..I have even traveled across the USA with no trouble using this phone or service..their phone customer service reps are very helpful...and the people at the local store near my home are very nice and quick to assist in any problems I may have.
The good: Camera and internet capabiliy, not too compact, decent reception, hands fee settings
The bad: A few more bells and whistles than I need or use.
Summary: Great phone for the money. Reception is ok. Camera is a big plus, although it's better for outside photos than inside. Nice to download photos to my computer for editing.
The good: Way better cell coverage, less dropped calls, better reception in places where I only got 1 bar before, family plan, decent phones, good customer service, online access of bills and account settings.
The bad: A little pricey, too much for texting, better plans on other carriers.
Summary: Although Cingular might be a little more pricey than the other carriers my husband and I agreed to stay with them anyway. We have had far better service both through the use of our cells and with any problems we've had. My one complaint is the price of texting and data. I'd like to see more competitive package prices in the future.
The good: Does very well considering Vermont has so many dead spots
The bad: None it is the best one I have had
Summary: I have owned numerous cell phones but find that this one does a good job in such a dead area.
The good: I can use the phone 24/7 for local, long distance, text and email messaging, sending photos, taking pictures. Pay one flat fee for everything. No long term contract.
The bad: Internet doesn't work that great. I keep getting booted if I go to my internet home page or I can't get into the other service. Can't text numbers to contests on Tv, can't get ringtones from other online services. Have to pay roaming fees if you leave your area. No really cool ringtones and they need to increase the volumn on some of them.
Summary: I would recommended this service to everyone. If you have friends or family who live in other states or instate but their long distance. I wish that since their in other city's here and also other states that they would drop the roaming charges and would also allow ringtones from other websites. But I use my phone 24/7 for local and long distance and with other services you can't do this unless you but pre-paid. They you would spend more a month buying the top-up cards.
The good: convenient chock full of extras works great with any system easy to hear talk and compute
The bad: size makes it easy to lose without holder
Summary: This phone is an all in one up to date gadget with the latest techno qualities. It is easy to use and be used. It can be personalized or not. Nice little bundle of every little thing.
It can be used by Granny or Little Nell. It costs a little bit more but well worth it.
The good: It has a quick button option that I find myself using frequently. I can keep track of my schedule on it, which is great because I have 4 kids and plenty of appointments to remember! I like the fact that it is a flip phone, as well as the fact that it is tiny in size. It is even smaller than my husband's Razor phone.
The bad: I can't figure out how to ust the "My Pictures" function. There isn't an outlet to attach it to the computer. I guess you have to use text messaging to send photos to your phone. I'm not sure.
Summary: I love this phone! It is easy to use, has great functions like a scheduler. It is small and it looks great! I like the fact that it has many ringtones to choose from too!
The good: No Credit card needed, cheaper than most carriers
The bad: have to pay fees for paper, paying youe bill, and you have to spend more when you travel
Summary: it's good for the money, frendly service. But you have to wait long in line to pay a bill or to have your phone fix. have to pay fee for paying the bill in person or on the phone.
The good: My phone gets a good signal. It is very lightwieght, and easy to use
The bad: The battery life is not very good on it. You have to hold it just right in order to hear.
Summary: All in all it is a good phone. The battery life could be greatly improved upon. I love that the phone it compact and lightwieght. I always get a good signal, and I live in an area with limited coverage.
The good: nice style sturdy
The bad: not great reception
Summary: i bought this phone when i needed a new one the style is fabulous. Sturdy antenna. Reception isn't the greatest
The good: Flip-phone, Light-up display, easy to press numbers on keypad
The bad: None
Summary: We have used this phone for over 2 years and it's still working great! Our daughter has dropped it many times and nothing has happened to it. She has also pulled out the attenna and bent it and we still get full coverage. It has not broke, snapped, chipped, faded, etc. It's a great cell phone.
The good: Its so small and it takes really great pictures. They are clear and crisp. Also I can go to any space on the internet and play or download stuff IM is great and I can send pics to my email address
The bad: It doesnt zoom in for pics so you will have to position yourself with camera
Summary: Over all I love my phone it has become my best friend and the best thing is you can put pic of your friends on it and add them to their numbers so they will show if they call.
