Instagram today announced that 200 million people use Instagram Stories every day, up from 150 million in January. To celebrate, Instagram is rolling out some new features to Stories.
Updates to the Instagram apps for Android and iPhone are rolling out today with new features. These include selfie stickers, which let you use a selfie as a sticker for your stories. You can create a selfie sticker by tapping the smiley face when you take a photo or video, then going to the sticker with a camera icon.
Today’s update also adds geostickers for four new cities. They include Chicago, London, Madrid, and Tokyo. Other cities with geostickers include New York City and Jakarta.
Other improvements rolling out with this new Instagram update include a shortcut to your favorite stickers, which you can access by tapping the smiley face and then swiping right to see your recently used stickers.
The new Instagram for Android is version 10.16.1, while iOS users should be on the lookout for version 10.16.
