Pokémon Go players, another major event is kicking off today.
The Pokémon Go Eggstravaganza event for Easter begins today, April 13, at 1:00 PM PDT and will run through 1:00 PM PDT on April 20. During that time, a larger variety of Pokémon will be hatched from 2km eggs, meaning that you can more quickly expand your Pokémon collection using the eggs with the shortest walking distance requirement.
This even will also give you more Candy for each egg that you hatch, which will make it easier to evolve and power up your Pokémon.
Rounding out this event is double XP. With it, you can level up your trainer faster by getting double experience points when you catch a Pokémon, hatch an egg, hit a PokéStop, and more. You can also use a Lucky Egg to get four times the XP, and Lucky Eggs will be available for purchase for half-off during this event.
The Pokémon Go Eggstravaganza looks like a pretty great event for people still enjoying Pokémon Go. With it, you should get some more interesting Pokémon beyond the common ones that usually hatch from 2km eggs. Double XP is nice, too, especially for those high-level players that have hundreds of thousands of experience points to earn before they can level up again.
