The past few months have been good for folks that love phones with super thin bezels thanks to devices like the Xiaomi Mi Mix and Samsung Galaxy S8. Now another phone with thin bezels appears to be coming soon.
Maze is a China-based company that’s prepping a new phone called the Alpha. Maze currently has a teaser page for the Alpha on its website, but that page doesn’t really have many spec details about the phone, showing only that it’s got thin bezels and dual rear cameras. Luckily for us, the rumor mill is able to fill us in.
According to Evan Blass, the Maze Alpha runs Android Nougat on a 6-inch 1920x1080 display with Gorilla Glass 4. The Alpha is reportedly packing an octa-core processor, a 4000mAh battery, and a dual rear camera setup that includes two Sony sensors, one of which is a 13-megapixel camera. The resolution of the other camera is still a mystery.

It’s expected that there will be two versions of the Maze Alpha offered, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage.
There’s no word on when the Maze Alpha will launch or how much it’ll cost when it does, but considering that Maze has a teaser page for the device on its site, it’s possible that a full reveal is coming soon. The images that we’re seeing so far make the make the Alpha look impressive, offering a large display with super-thin bezels so that it feels like you’re just holding a screen, though there might be a thicker bezel on the bottom like on the Mi Mix for things like a front-facing camera. Now we’ll just have to wait for the Alpha to actually hit our hands so that we can see how it performs.
