After launching the Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid in July, Verizon today added another Moto phone to its lineup.
The Moto G4 Play is now available as part of Verizon’s prepaid lineup. Pricing is set at $84.99.
As a refresher, the Moto G4 Play runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on a 5-inch 1280x720 display. It’s got 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a microSD slot for adding more storage if you need it. Powering the whole package is a 2,800mAh battery.
The Moto G family of phones have gotten a lot of praise for being good “bang for your buck” devices. While the Moto G4 Play isn’t exactly a high-end device, it’s got some solid specs for its $84.99 price tag, and it’s one of the better options for folks looking for an affordable smartphone in Verizon’s prepaid lineup.
