This is quite the month for the Nokia Lumia 1520. Not only is it now receiving an update to Windows 10 Mobile, but it’s made a triumphant return to AT&T, too.
AT&T is now selling the Lumia 1520 in its online store after it ended sales in April 2015. Unfortunately, you can’t get any of the fun colors that the 1520 was available in, like green and yellow, because your only color option is matte black. Pricing is set at $0 down and 30 payments of $19.50 with AT&T Next, $0 down and 24 payments of $24.38 with AT&T Next Every Year, or $584.99 with no contract.
AT&T hasn’t said exactly why it’s selling the Lumia 1520 again, but the company probably figures that it can move some more 1520 inventory now that the phone is running Windows 10 Mobile rather than Windows Phone 8.1. The pricing seems a bit high for a phone that launched in November 2013, but if you really dig Nokia’s ginormous phablet, the good news is that Windows has shown that it can run well even on hardware that’s not bleeding edge, like the 1520’s older Snapdragon 800 processor.
