There’s been quite a bit of affordable Android news today thanks to the start of Moto G4 pre-orders and the debut of the Wileyfox Spark. Now we’re switching things up, though, with the announcement of a flagship-tier device.

The ZTE Nubia Z11 made its official debut today. One of its highlight features is its 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, which features an edge-to-edge design. The Nubia Z11’s high-end features don’t stop there, though, as the phone is also available up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. The standard model offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Both versions offer a microSD slot that you can use to add even more storage.

The Nubia Z11’s rear camera packs a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, optical image stabilization, and phase detection autofocus. Meanwhile, the front of the Nubia Z11 is home to an 8-megapixel camera with wide-angle lens. Rounding out the Nubia Z11’s spec list is a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, 3000mAh battery with fast charging support, fingerprint reader, and Android 6.0 running beneath ZTE’s custom Nubia UI 4.0 user interface. 

ZTE will launch the Nubia Z11 in China on July 6, with pricing set at 2499 Yuan ($376 USD) for the 4GB/64GB model and 3499 Yuan ($527 USD) for the 6GB/128GB version. ZTE also plans to offer a limited edition Cristiano Ronaldo version of the Nubia Z11, but there are no launch or pricing details available for that model.

The Nubia Z11 looks like a nice flagship smartphone that, unfortunately, most of us will probably never handle. Its premium design and edge-to-edge display definitely look nice, but hopefully ZTE has some touch rejection software in its custom UI, otherwise you could end up accidentally touching the sides of the screen when trying to hold the phone. And while we’ve seen a few Android phones with 6GB of RAM so far in 2016, it’s still a pretty crazy feature that’s sure to get spec hounds’ attention.
