Lots of folks probably pre-ordered the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge last month, but if you haven’t yet pulled the trigger, T-Mobile’s got an upcoming deal that you may be interested in.
A leaked photo shows that T-Mobile is planning a Buy One, Get One Free deal on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. The deal is expected to kick off on March 11, the launch day for both phones, but it’s not known how long it’ll run. To qualify, you’ll need one of the phones to be on a new line of service, and they’ll both need to be bought on an Equipment Installment Plan.
When it comes to the nitty-gritty of the deal, T-Mo says that the customer will pay taxes and any down payment on the free device. There’s also a mention of a prepaid MasterCard mail-in rebate, and there will be a limit of two free phones per account.
We’re still waiting to spend some quality time with Samsung’s new phones before making any final judgments about them, but the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge were two of the best smartphones of 2015, and so the GS7 and GS7 edge could very well be two of the top phones of 2016. And if this deal does happen, you’ll be able to snag one of ‘em for free on their launch day. That’s a pretty nice deal, so long as you know at least one person that’s looking for new cell service.
