Xiaomi gets a lot of headlines for its affordably priced Android phones, but the company also offers several accessories. And today it introduced its newest accessory, a 10000mAh power bank.
The new Mi Powerbank Pro offers 10000mAh worth of battery in a body that’s 12.6mm thick. The battery pack includes multiple voltages (12V/1.5A, 9V/2A, 5V/2A) and can use fast charging to juice itself up in three and a half hours using its 18W charger. Also notable about the Mi Powerbank Pro is that, in addition to its regular USB 2.0 port, it’s got a USB Type-C port for charging devices like the Nexus 6P and Xiaomi Mi 5.
Xiaomi will sell the Mi Powerbank Pro 149 Chinese Yuan, or around $23 USD. There’s no word on when or if the Mi Powerbank Pro will launch in the US and other countries, but Xiaomi does offer battery packs to US consumers, so we could see the Mi Powerbank Pro offered to US consumers as well. The Mi Powerbank Pro is a good-looking battery pack and the USB Type-C port is a nice inclusion for folks that have a Type-C phone, so here’s to hoping that we see international availability soon.
