Now that Microsoft has pushed out the Lumia 950 and 950 XL, its first Windows phone flagships in quite some time, it looks like the company is getting back to the entry level.

Renders of the Microsoft Lumia 650 have leaked out, teasing MSFT’s next Windows 10 Mobile handset. It’s worth noting that these are not official images made by Microsoft, rather they’re renders put together by information that’s been leaked to Windows Central. Despite its entry-level status, the Lumia 650 has a nice-looking design, complete with a metal band around its body.

In terms of specs, the Lumia 650 will reported have a 5-inch 1280x720 display and 5-megapixel camera on its face, as well as an 8-megapixel camera with flash on its rear. Powering this package is said to be a quad-core Snapdragon 212 processor and 1GB of RAM, and the device is also expected to offer 8GB of built-in storage, a microSD slot, Quick Charge 2.0 support, dual SIM slots, NFC, HD Voice, and Wi-Fi calling support. 

The Lumia 650 is expected to be announced in early 2016, and it’s said that Cricket Wireless could launch it in April. The device will target customers that want an entry-level device and businesses that need a phone to distribute to employees. If this whole leak turns out to be accurate, the Lumia 650 could be a way for Microsoft to get Windows 10 Mobile into many more hands while it’s still working on the W10M update for Windows Phone 8 devices.
