CES 2016 doesn’t officially start until for a couple of days, but Alcatel OneTouch has decided to kick things off a bit early with a tease of some new products.
Alcatel OneTouch is prepping four Android devices in its Pixi 4 family of hardware. The group includes three new smartphones with screens that measure 3.5, 4, and 6 inches, as well as a 7-inch tablet. Details on these new pieces of kit will arrive later in the week, but Alcatel OneTouch describes them as “premium entry-level devices offering a comprehensive user experience in design, audio, camera, and battery life.”
With this range of screen sizes, Alcatel OneTouch is hoping to have something for everyone in the Pixi 4 line. There are 3.5-inch and 4-inch phones for folks that value smaller devices that are easy to use with one hand, then there’s the 6-inch phablet for people that want a gigantic screen without a similarly large price tag. And then there’s the 7-inch tablet, which could be useful as an affordable tablet that’s easy to carry with you.
Along with those four Android products, Alcatel OneTouch is showing an 8-inch Windows 10 Mobile tablet. The Pixi 3 is customizable with Color Skins and Flip Stand covers, and it’s also got TV controls, voice calling, GPS, and cameras on both its front and rear.
Alcatel OneTouch should tell us more about all of its new hardware in the coming days, so stay tuned for spec and pricing info.
