Motorola may have tried to keep the Moto G (2015) or Moto G (3rd Gen.) a secret before its public unveiling expected to go down on July 28, but that hasn't really worked out for the company.
The 2015 Moto G has been leaked a few times, including a few looks at a render of the handset, as well as a tweet that suggested the upcoming handset will be customizable through Motorola's Moto Maker tool. Images of the device in the wild have surfaced in the past as well, but many of them have been blurry, and lacking detail. That changes with a series of new images that were recently published by LaptopMedia. The images, which show the front of the device, as well as the back cover, are crisp and clear, giving us the sharpest look at the upcoming handset to date.
As far as features go, nothing is official just yet. However, it's expected that the Moto G (2015) will boast a 5-inch HD display, a quad-core processor under the hood, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, and Android 5.1 Lollipop under the hood. It's rumored to feature an IPX7 rating, as well as have a microSD card slot for expandable storage.
Motorola has July 28 scheduled for a date to change the relationship status of smartphone owners out there, and the Moto X (2015) and Moto G (2015) are likely to make an appearance ahead of a public launch later this year.
