After photos of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 have leaked online (along with the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus), there are rumors of an early release date for the device. According to sources, the date to look out for is August 13th—where the Galaxy Note 5 is set to make its official debut in New York together with the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
Apart from its release date, benchmark result tests of a Verizon model Galaxy Note 5 has also been spotted in the wild. While the post published on Geekbench does not show much about the device, it does confirm speculation that it will run on an octa-core Exynos 7420 processor. The mysterious phablet, with a model number SM-N920V, is reported to have 4GB of RAM.
When it launches, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected be a power-packed device that comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, expandable storage and an S Pen. August 13 isn’t too long away but we’re already getting excited to know what’s in store for this device.
