The next carrier to share its LG G4 launch plans is Verizon Wireless.
Verizon will begin taking pre-orders for the LG G4 tomorrow, May 28, with an in-store launch planned for June 4. Verizon notes that it’ll begin shipping pre-orders before its June 4 launch, though. The big red carrier will also let consumers try before they buy with an in-store G4 preview that’ll be available “in select stores.”
As far as pricing goes, Verizon will sell the G4 for $0 down and 24 payments of $22.91 with Verizon Edge. Full retail price will be $549.99. If you decide to plunk down for a G4, you’ll be able to choose from Metallic Gray, Genuine Black Leather, or Ceramic White color options.
Verizon will also launch the LG G Pad X8.3 on May 28. Pricing for this Android tablet will be set at $0 down and $12.49 per month with Verizon Edge or $299.99 full retail. The G Pad X8.3’s specs include an 8.3-inch 1920x1080 display, dual stereo speakers, a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, and Android 5.0 with LG’s custom user interface. Other features include 16GB of storage, a microSD slot, and a 4800mAh battery.
Finally, Verizon says that customers that buy an LG G4 will be able to get either an LG G Pad X8.3 for $49.99 with a two-year contract, an LG G Pad 10.1 for $99.99 on-contract, for an LG Watch Urbane for $299.99. Verizon’s LG G4 also qualifies for LG’s free memory card, battery, and battery charger promo.
