Remember that Chrome Beta for Android update that rolled out in April with a faster checkout feature using Google Wallet? Well that’s now heading out to the Chrome stable channel.
Google says that it’s now pushing version 43 of Chrome for Android, specifically version 43.0.2357.78. Included is a Faster Checkout feature that’ll let you quickly fill checkout forms with your Google Wallet data, as well as a Touch to Search feature that’ll let you “learn more about words and phrases by touching them on your screen.” Google’s also thrown in some unspecified bug fixes and “speedy performance improvements.”
This sounds like a nice little update for Chrome for Android, offering faster checkouts for folks that use Google Wallet and an easy way to learn about words for everyone. And while I’m sure a lot of folks have been using these features in the Chrome Beta app for a while, regular folks that don’t want to beta test apps on their phone can now try ‘em out too.
