UPDATE: Verizon has posted the changelog for its HTC One M7 Android 5.0 update. You can find it at the bottom of this post.
Most folks that are still rocking the HTC One M7 have had Android 5.0 for a month or two now, but anyone using a Verizon One M7 are still on KitKat. Thankfully, that’s going to change this week.
HTC’s Mo Versi says that the Verizon One M7’s Android 5.0 update has earned technical approval and that the update is slated to begin rolling out on Thursday, May 14.
If the Verizon One M7’s Lollipop update is anything like the ones that hit the other U.S. variants of the One M7, it’ll include a refreshed and more Material Design-ified user interface, an updated Recent Apps feature, the ability to search in Settings, and more. We’ll know more about the update on Thursday, so you Verizon One M7 folk should stay tuned and I’ll update you with more info as it becomes available.
