Verizon launched a trio of LG Android tablets in 2014, and it looks like the big red carrier has another one up its sleeve for 2015.
The LG G Pad X has been revealed by @evleaks as an Android 5.0 tablet running on Verizon’s 4G LTE network. Spec details for the G Pad X are light, but a previous @evleaks tweet referred to the device as the “GPad X 8.3,” so the slate could feature an 8.3-inch display.
In addition to the G Pad X, @evleaks claims to have info on a few other devices that may soon hit Verizon. It’s suggested that the Sony Xperia Z4, HTC Desire 526, and iPad mini 4 could all arrive on Verizon’s shelves at some point in the future. We haven’t heard Sony mention any plans about releasing the Xperia Z4 outside of Japan, so it’s interesting to hear that the new flagship could end up hitting Verizon in the U.S. Here’s to hoping that if it does, it’s the straight-up Xperia Z4 and not a reworked version like the Xperia Z3v was of the Xperia Z3.
