Looks like Sprint isn’t the only U.S. carrier that’s planning to push Android 5.0.1 out today.
T-Mobile has announced that it will roll Android 5.0.1, build LRX22C, to both the Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 today. Both updates include “software stability.”
Google hasn’t made any official announcements regarding Android 5.0.1 rollouts for the Nexus 5 or Nexus 6, but with both Sprint and T-Mobile announcing the updates today, it seems likely that we could indeed see some Android 5.0.1 goodness hitting users soon. Sure, it’s not a major update, but it’ll still be nice to be on the latest and greatest version of Android.
If you’ve got a Nexus 5 or Nexus 6, you can check for the Android 5.0.1 update by heading into Settings > About phone > System updates.
