The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is one of the first devices to feature Samsung’s new design language that includes metal edges. It’s not going to be the only “Galaxy A” family member, though, as Sammy’s reportedly got even more metal phones in the pipeline.
New images shared by AndroidMX claim to offer clear looks at Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 devices. The above photo shows the Galaxy Alpha in the middle with the A5 on its left and the A3 on its right. Meanwhile, a second image claims to offer a close-up of the A5’s backside.
Specs for the Galaxy A5 are said to include a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 400 processor, 16GB of storage, 2330mAh battery, 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. Pricing for the A5 is expected to be around $400 or $450. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A3 is expected to be a $350 or $400 smartphone with dual-SIM support and 4G LTE.
Neither of these new Galaxy A smartphones will be able to go toe-to-toe with the Galaxy Note 4 in terms of specs, but they both look like affordable smartphones that can give consumers a premium-feeling device with a not-so-premium price tag. Both the Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 are expected to launch in the coming months.
