Along with announcing the Moto 360’s pricing and availability last week, Motorola also revealed that it would sell its Android Wear smartwatch with a metal band sometime this fall for $299.99. Moto didn’t say precisely when the full metal Moto 360 will hit store shelves and our wrists, but apparently Verizon doesn’t mind sharing that info with us.
Verizon is now accepting pre-orders for the Moto 360 with a metal band for the expected $299.99 asking price. The big red carrier has both the silver and black versions available, and it says that orders will ship on November 11. Verizon’s also taking pre-orders for the $249.99 Moto 360 with leather band, which it says will ship on October 27.
Since we’ve yet to hear an official launch date for the all-metal Moto 360 from Motorola, it’s possible that the release date could be different than the one being offered by Verizon. A mid-November launch could make sense, though, as it falls in the autumn time frame that has been given by Moto and still gets the metal 360 out in time for the all-important holiday shopping season.
How many of you are waiting for the metal Moto 360?
