Remember last week when HTC announced that the AT&T One (M7) would begin receiving its Sense 6 update this week? Well it looks like HTC wasn’t kidding around, because the AT&T One (M7) appears to be receiving an update right this second.
Several Android Central forum users report that they’re receiving the Sense 6 update on their AT&T-branded HTC One (M7) units. Neither AT&T nor HTC have made any official announcements regarding the update, but HTC executive Mo Versi recently said that the update was expected to get underway on Wednesday, so it seems likely that this update does include Sense 6 goodness.
The update weighs in at a hefty 673.1MB. We’ll have to wait for AT&T or HTC to post a changelog before we know exactly what’s included, but it’s likely that AT&T One (M7) owners can expected updated versions of BlinkFeed and Gallery, a flatter user interface and more.
If you’re rocking an HTC One (M7) with an AT&T tattoo, you can check for this update manually by heading into Settings > AT&T software update > Check for updates. Just make sure that you’re connected to Wi-Fi before you try and download this big ol’ update, ok?
