Most of the Samsung Galaxy S5 leaks that we've seen to date have focused on its hardware and what kind of specs we might see included with Samsung's next flagship smartphone. Today we're switching things up a bit, though, because some images have leaked that show off new Samsung software that could be preloaded on the Galaxy S5.

First up is a new app called Samsung Life Times. The images shared by SamMobile suggest that Life Times will be a diary-style app that can collect data from other apps and sources on a user's phone to create a snapshot of his or her day. The screenshots show that users will be able to select which apps Life Times pulls data from, including the Camera, Phone, S Health, Facebook and Foursquare.

Samsung is known for loading its devices up with special software features like Story Album, S Voice, S Health and Smart Stay, so it's no surprise to learn that it may be cooking another unique app in its kitchens. While there's likely still a lot that we don't know about Life Times, it sounds like a handy app for consumers that want to document their daily life. Life Times' ability to pull data from other apps should make it easy to create entries, and it's smart for Samsung to allow users to choose which apps Life Times can access. What will be interesting is seeing what level of quality the entries that Life Times creates are at.

The second app that's leaked out is S Voice. Samsung's voice assistant has been around for a couple of years now, but a freshly-leaked screenshot shows that the app may soon be getting a makeover. The new-look S Voice is reminiscent of that refreshed Samsung user interface that leaked out earlier this month, complete with a flat look and pastel color scheme. There's no word yet on what kind of goodies that the new S Voice app might gain beyond this refreshed look, but with a visual redesign and a new flagship phone planned, I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung decided to throw in some new functionality as well.
