There have been quite a few BlackBerry 10 leaks trickling out as we get closer to the platform's big launch event next month, and now there's another to be added to the pile. Some slides have made their way online, originally posted over at CrackBerry, that offer a peek at new video chat and screen sharing features for BBM. We've already heard that BBM video chat is coming, but these slides include a glimpse at how the app itself. The slides also show that users will be able to share their screen during a video call.
Along with these BBM-related features, a separate slide has revealed a new app dubbed BlackBerry Remember. The app is a task manager allows users to enter plans, content and ideas into the device, group them together and also track them. Tasks will reportedly be able to be synced with Microsoft Outlook.
RIM has been teasing BlackBerry 10 for a long time now, and as I noted before, there have been more than a few leaks hinting at what hardware and software the new OS will bring with it. The good news is that the wait for BlackBerry 10 will finally be coming to an end soon, as RIM has scheduled a launch event for BB10 on January 30. The first two smartphones running the OS will be shown off there, and while it's not yet clear exactly when they'll be released to the public, RIM executives have said that they'll be hitting shelves "not too long after" the big shindig.
