MT PLEASANT, SC – Weighing both readers' and experts' opinions, PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) sets the bar for ranking the best of the best smartphones in the market. In week 32, the Samsung Galaxy S III held its #1 position in the People's Choice Chart with ease, besting the Samsung Galaxy Note II (global) by nearly 400 reader votes. The Apple iPhone 5 took first place again in the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart with 40 expert points.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II (global) proved it is a force to be reckoned with for week 32, moving up from the 11th position to second in the People's Choice Chart. The Apple iPhone 5 fell to the #3 spot, which pushed the HTC One X out of the top three for the first time since its launch in May. With 35 points, the HTC One X held on to third place with ease. Taking fourth with 18 points, the Samsung Galaxy Note II (global) has slowly climbed into the Mobile Tech Expert's Chart, too.
“Samsung's Galaxy Note II is making waves, and I expect to see votes for it increase as it becomes available in the United States," said Aaron Baker, Editor-in-Chief of PhoneDog.
