Hot on the heels of AT&T's announcement of its LG Optimus G launch plans, Sprint has gone ahead and revealed the availability details for its version of LG's quad-core Android smartphone. The Now Network will release the LG Optimus G on November 11, with pricing set at $199.99 with a two-year contract. Like AT&T, Sprint will also allow interested customers to pre-order the Optimus G, with pre-sales for Sprint's model kicking off on November 1.
Like the Optimus G on AT&T, Sprint's model features a 4.7-inch 1280x768 HD IPS+ display, 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 4G LTE, a 2,100mAh battery and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Sprint Optimus G also touts 13-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras and 32GB of built-in storage. Spec-wise, the Optimus G looks to be a solid addition to Sprint's LTE device lineup, and so any customers in one of the many markets that'll soon be gaining Sprint LTE coverage may want to give this device a go once November 11 rolls around.
