Looks like the Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi isn't the only device that'll be receiving a bump to Android 4.0.4. Google has just announced on its official Android Google+ account that it's begun rolling an update to Android 4.0.4 out to the UMTS/GSM Nexus S, the XOOM Wi-Fi and the HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus. Besides being brought up to Android 4.0.4, users that install the update can expect to find improvements to stability camera performance, screen rotation, phone number recognition and more.
On the CDMA side of things, there's no word yet on when devices like Sprint's Nexus S 4G and Verizon's Galaxy Nexus will receive updates of their own. However, Google does say that it'll be pushing updates to more devices "in the coming weeks," so owners of those products may not be waiting too much longer. As for you owners of the GSM Nexus S, HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus, and XOOM Wi-Fi, you folks should begin keeping an eye out for an update notification that should be hitting your device(s) soon. Be sure to stop by our comments section once you get Android 4.0.4 up and running, ya hear?
