The HTC HD7S for AT&T was announced back near the end of March, and we were told that it would be launching sometime in the following weeks. Fast forward to today, and Ma Bell has finally given up the official launch date and pricing details on its next Windows Phone 7 device over at its Facebook page. The HD7S will be arriving on June 5th for $199.99 with a two-year contract. What kind of features will your hard-earned $200 get you? The HD7S is packing a 4.3-inch 480x800 Super LCD display, 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and 720p video capture, 576MB RAM, 512MB ROM, and 16GB of internal storage.
There aren't many differences between T-Mobile's HD7, which launched at the beginning of last November, and AT&T's HD7S, so why I'm kind of surprised that ATT is asking $200 on-contract for the device. Of course, the AT&T's model packs an SLCD display, a definite upgrade from HD7's plain ol' LCD. Is the SLCD worth a $100 premium over T-Mobile's HD7? I suppose we'll find out in a few weeks. Are any of you going to pick up an HD7S?
