Good news for those you eagerly anticipating the arrival of the HTC Flyer: we're just a few short days away from the 7-inch tablet's arrival. Best Buy just announced that they'll be launching the HTC Flyer on May 22nd, aka this Sunday, and that all Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores will be stocking the $499 device. The full statement from Best Buy is available below.
With its portable size and Scribe technology, the Flyer makes for a pretty interesting entry into the Android tablet world. It is kind of a bummer that the Flyer is launching with Android 2.3, but HTC has said that it'll be updated to Honeycomb shortly after launch, so that's something to keep in mind. Anyone going to pull the trigger on one this weekend? Why or why not?
