Not that we didn't see this coming, but RIM's new BlackBerry Curve 9330 is headed to Sprint. RIM has posted a knowledge base article, which has since been removed, explaining that "After the ##RTN command is performed on a Sprint BlackBerry Curve 9330 smartphone, BlackBerry App World storefront and all preloaded games other than BrickBreaker and Word Mole are unexpectedly removed without user action." A previous rumor stated that Verizon would be getting the 9330 in September, so if that rumor pans out, I would expect Sprint's 9330 to hit around the same time.
Let's be honest: we all kind of expected the Curve 9330 to hit Verizon and Sprint at some point. We're just waiting on some solid release and pricing info, since we only have rumors to go on at this point. The Curve 8530, the model that the 9330 is set to replace, is getting a little long in the tooth (and has an end-of-life date set at Sept. 16th), so I wouldn't be surprised to see both the Verizon and Sprint 9330s hitting within the next month or so. Are any of you BlackBerry fanatics anxiously awaiting the 9330?
