Having a web version of your music streaming service can be handy because it lets you easily listen to tunes on any computer without having to install a new app or anything like that. Now Apple Music subscribers can enjoy the benefits of a web music player.
Apple today launched a public beta version of an Apple Music web player. It's available to everyone, so if you want to try it, just point your web browser to beta.music.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
You will need to be an existing Apple Music subscriber to use the website right now, notes TechCrunch, but Apple plans to allow new users to sign up through the website later on.
This Apple Music web player offers searching and playing music from both the streaming catalog and your library, playlist support, and more. The Library, Search, For You, Browse, and Radio sections are all there, too. And Apple says that it'll add more features over time.
Other music streaming services like Spotify, Pandora, and Tidal already offer web players, so it's good to see Apple Music get one, too. If you're an Apple Music subscriber, go try it out and let us know what you think!
