After launching on Amazon Echo devices late last year, Apple Music is now available on more Amazon hardware.
Apple Music launched on Amazon Fire TV devices in the U.S. today. With this feature, Apple Music subscribers can ask Alexa to play songs, artists, playlists, and albums on a Fire TV device. Just say something like "Alexa, play music by Taylor Swift on Apple Music" and your tunes will start. Plus, Fire TV Cube owners can play songs from Apple Music on multi-room music groups.
To use Apple Music on your Fire TV devices, you'll need to enable the Apple Music skill in the Alexa app and then link your account. If you previously enabled the Apple Music skill to listen on an Echo device, you don't need to do anything extra.
Amazon also confirmed today that in the coming weeks, Apple Music will be available on Echo and Fire TV devices in the U.K.
