Just as promised, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau today dropped a teaser for the upcoming OnePlus 7.
The OnePlus 7 will "unleash a new era of Fast and Smooth", Lau said on Twitter today. "Especially Smooth! Smooth is more challenging than Fast - a true test of hardware and software." Attached to the tweet is a brief teaser video that includes the silhouette of what looks to be a phone.
Excited to share the next product from OnePlus will unleash a new era of Fast and Smooth. Especially Smooth! Smooth is more challenging than Fast - a true test of hardware and software.

The video shows the two o's in the word "Smooth" replaced by three dots. This could hint at the three models of the OnePlus 7 that rumors have suggested are in the works: a standard OnePlus 7, a OnePlus 7 Pro, and a OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.
Speaking of rumors, another report has surfaced that claims to have some more spec information on the OnePlus 7 Pro. The device will have a Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, claims Ishan Agarwal and Android Central, as well as dual speakers and an improved vibration motor for better haptic feedback. A 4000mAh battery will be included, too, along with 30W Warp Charge fast charging and USB 3.1 connectivity. A triple rear camera setup with wide angle and telephoto sensors is also said to be included.
This is the second OnePlus 7 Pro spec leak we've gotten in the past 24 hours. A report from OnLeaks says that the OP7 Pro's screen will measure 6.64 inches and have curved edges and that its main rear camera will be a 48MP snapper. Meanwhile, the standard OnePlus 7 is rumored to have a 6.4-inch flat display and a dual rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor.
Reports have suggested that the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro may be announced at an event on May 14th.
