Getting to your carrier's store to buy a new phone and get help setting it up can be difficult for folks with a busy schedule. AT&T's Ready to Go program helps by bringing your new device to you, and this week the program is expanding in a big way.
AT&T says that Ready to Go is now available in 54 markets, covering more than half of U.S. households. Some of the new markets include Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; Minneapolis, MN; Sacramento, CA; Denver, CO; and Jacksonville, FL. The full list of Ready to Go markets can be found at the bottom of this post.
Ready to Go lets you shop online and have an AT&T employee deliver your device within hours of your order. They'll help you set up your device, too, including transferring contacts, syncing apps, explaining the latest features, and answering any questions you might have.
Ordering a new device from your carrier's website and having it delivered to your door has long been an option, but some people may want help setting up their new device and learning about its features, and you miss out on that when just buying a phone online and having it sent to your door. AT&T's Ready to Go offers an in-store setup experience wherever the customer is, and it's free.
