The Galaxy S8 leaks continue to flow ahead of Samsung’s event on March 29.
Two more notable GS8 leaks have now surfaced. First up, a photo that shows the Galaxy S8 screen resolution has appeared on Twitter. The full resolution of the phone is 2960x1440, but if you’d like to change the resolution of the extra tall display, you can move to 2220x1080 or even 1480x720.
We’ve known for a while now that the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will have large displays (rumored to be 5.8 and 6.2 inches, respectively) and that they’ll both be taller with an 18:9 or so aspect ratio. Now we know the resolution, too. It’s no surprise that the GS8 phones will have Quad HD resolution screens since the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge were QHD, too, but it’s still nice to see a leak support that info.
In other Galaxy S8 news, images of what may be the Galaxy S8+’s packaging have leaked. The box is all black, with white text on the front and back that reveal the specific device you’ve got, the storage capacity, and its package contents and legal info on the back. There’s a big blue “S8+” on the front of the box, too.
