Last month Samsung introduced the Galaxy Folder, a new Android flip phone that got some attention for its form factor but then disappointed some folks with its less-than-stellar spec list. Enter the G9198, Samsung’s latest Android clamshell with a higher-end feature set.

The G9198 comes with two 3.9-inch Super AMOLED touchscreens — one on front and one on the inside — both of which have a resolution of 1280x768. That already trumps the Galaxy Folder, which has a lone 3.8-inch 800x480 screen. The G9198 also has a 16-megapixel rear shooter with an f/1.9 aperture, which is a higher resolution than the Folder’s 8-megapixel main shooter. On the front of the G9198 is a 5-megapixel snapper.

Powering the Samsung G9198 is a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 2020mAh battery. Rounding out the spec list is 16GB of storage (10.9GB available to the user), a microSD card slot, 4G LTE connectivity and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

While the Galaxy Folder is an entry-level Android flip phone that appears to be targeted at older users, the G9198 is a much higher-end device that offers features like a 16-megapixel camera, Snapdragon 808, and two displays that are higher resolution than the Galaxy Folder’s screen. The bad news is that it’s unlikely that we’ll ever see the G9198 released outside of China, but at least we can admire it from afar.
