Heads up, T-Mobile customers, because CEO John Legere has announced the details of when you’ll be able to buy Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge+.
Legere says that both of Samsung’s new phones will be available online and over the phone tomorrow, August 18, starting at 6:00 am PT/9:00 am ET. The Note 5 and S6 edge+ will be available in-store when T-Mo shops open on Friday, August 21.
We’re opening up #Note5 and #GalaxyS6Plus ordering starting Tuesday 6am PT – no pre-order needed. AND we’re going to start shipping ASAP!

If you’re planning on picking up one of the two new Galaxy handsets, you’ll have two color options for each. The Note 5 will be available in Black Sapphire and White Pearl, while the S6 edge+ will be sold in Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum. You can find pricing for both phones right here.
Some other US carriers opened up pre-orders for the Note 5 and S6 edge+ last week, and I’ve seen some reports of folks already receiving their units. T-Mobile customers aren’t quite so lucky, but you Magenta Army members will still get your new phone around a week after its announcement if you want it. That’s still pretty quick.
While you wait for the Note 5 and S6 edge+ to hit your carrier's store or your doorstep, or if you're on the fence about either, be sure to check out our hands-on videos of both of Samsung's new handsets! The Note 5's video is here and the S6 edge+'s is here.
